Affenpark Apenheul
Welkom Netherlands
A great place to spend the day: enjoy encounters of a special kind at Apeldoorn in the Netherlands. After all, around half of the primates living here, of which there are more than 300, are free to roam among the visitors! For some 50 years, Apenheul has been impressing guests with its mixture of wildlife fun, its conservation programme and its colourfully-varied offering to children, such as the climbing house and playhouse – you are in the Netherlands, after all. A new park area opened in the spring of 2020. Apenheul is home to the biggest hotel for insects in the world as well as an area of “feeding woodland” in which the white-faced saki, marmosets and red tit monkeys help themselves to their snacks.
50% discount on a regular entry ticket for adults and children with each RUHR.TOPCARD. Admission only with the available capacity.
As the primates here roam free, please bring a sealable bag in which you can store all your personal belongings. The route to the Primate Park is signposted clearly in and around Apeldoorn. A visit takes around five hours. Online reservation is required for a visit. Please click on "I already have a ticket" and enter the date, time, number of persons and your personal details. The time ticket will be presented at the cash desk with your RUHR.TOPCARD. Payment is only possible on site and only with EC- / credit card.
