What service does the RUHR.TOPCARD provide?
The RUHR.TOPCARD is an experience card for the Ruhr area, the Sauerland and the Lower Rhine. It consists of three service segments:
As a cardholder, you can visit more than 90 destinations free once. This includes zoos, water parks, boat trips, museums and much more.
In addition, over 50 destinations are available at half price - and as often as you like. There are a few exceptions, which can only be visited once, just pay attention to the description in the card service.
Exciting theme parks, selected theater & variety shows, and action-packed fun sports activities are all part of the game.
For how long is the RUHR.TOPCARD valid?
The RUHR.TOPCARD is valid for a calendar year and is always valid from 1st January to 31st December.
How much does the RUHR.TOPCARD cost?
The RUHR.TOPCARD costs 58 Euros for adults and 38 Euros for children. The following differentiation is important for children:
Children (born between 2008 and 2017):
Children born between these years need their own children's RTC. This entitles them to one free visit to the "free admission" offers. For visits to the "half-price" destinations applies: If it is not highlighted in the service description that there is a reduction on the children's price, the holder of a children's RTC receives the reduction on the regular adult price.
Infants (born between 2018 and 2022):
A maximum of three infants accompanied by an adult RTC holder receive free admission to the "free admission" offers. Exceptions are the "half-price" attractions, unless it is highlighted in the description that free admission is also possible here.
ADAC members receive the RUHR.TOPCARD for adults all year round at the price of 52 euros. The membership number is required for this.

Where is the RUHR.TOPCARD available?
The RUHR.TOPCARD is available at 180 sales points in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), or via our online shop & hotline.
The sales period is always from the end of November to the end of October.

Can I receive a replacement if I lose the card?

Are there discounts for students, trainees, pensioners, or disabled persons?
There is no discount for groups of people such as students, trainees, pensioners or people with disabilities.
The partners of the RUHR.TOPCARD have very different regulations in this respect, which cannot be generally regulated by the RUHR.TOPCARD. We therefore recommend that customers check the prices and conditions of our partners themselves to decide whether the purchase of a RUHR.TOPCARD is worth it in this case.
Are there special offers for groups?
Special group offers are available for school classes, companies, and groups with a minimum purchase of 20 RUHR.TOPCARDs.

It is generally not possible to issue RUHR.TOPCARDs that are issued in the name of an institution and can therefore be used by several people. Each RUHR.TOPCARD must be bear the cardholder's name and signature.
Can I gift the RUHR.TOPCARD?
Yes! The RUHR.TOPCARD makes a great gift as it is personalized by the person who will make use of it in the end. Herewith, the person receiving the RUHR.TOPCARD only needs to fill in his or her name and signature on the back of the card before using it for the first time.
How long does it take to process my order?
Once we received your payment the order will usually be processed within 1-2 work days. Delivery via post will then take another 2-3 work days per usual. If your cards did not arrive after 6 work days, you are welcome to contact us.
We recommend ordering early if you want to gift the RUHR.TOPCARD as a christmas present, as an extensive amount of orders are placed during this period which can lead to longer processing times.
Can I return my purchased RUHR.TOPCARD?
Normally, unused RUHR.TOPCARDs can be returned within 14 days at the point of sale where the card was purchased. In the case of online purchases, the return is made via Ruhr Tourismus GmbH.
For the RUHR.TOPCARD 2020 there is the possibility of a pro-rata refund due to the corona-related loss of services. This is possible until 31.12.2024. You can find more information here.
Can I only buy RUHR.TOPCARDs from the ADAC at the ADAC special price?
In addition to the special price for ADAC members, RUHR.TOPCARDs can be purchased at all ADAC sales points for the normal price.
How can I close my user account and delete my data?
In the profile area (after login) there is a button to delete the profile. All stored data of the account will be deleted.
How can I install the RUHR.TOPCARD app?
As the app is a so-called progressive web app, it is not available in the App Store. To download the app, simply visit our website ruhrtopcard.de with your smartphone. If no pop-up window appears and navigates you to the app download, please visit app.ruhrtopcard.de and click on the blue banner.
