Visit the Bunker Museum in Hagen on your own – without a guided tour. Explore the luxury bunker and get a feel for the atmosphere of the time when you visit the cramped accommodation of the people who sought shelter there in the past. Original technology and various exhibits also await you, such as a genuine high-explosive bomb, blackout measures, children’s gas protection jackets, awards, badges and photos of air raids. You can even turn the former air raid siren on yourself. Another highlight is the exhibition on the Allies’ propaganda flyers, where you can read the messages that were once dropped from the sky.

One free admission to visit the War Museum.
The visit is only possible on Saturdays from 12 - 15 p.m. and on Sundays from 13 - 17 p.m. You can find more information here.
