In the cooling vaults of the former Linden brewery, the Centre for International Light Art in Unna, which is unique in the world, presents a permanent exhibition with works by Mario Merz, Joseph Kosuth, Mischa Kuball, Jan van Munster, Keith Sonnier, Christian Boltanski, Rebecca Horn, Brigitte Kowanz, François Morellet, James Turrell, Olafur Eliasson and Christina Kubisch. The works of art are an experience for all the senses. The museum also organises temporary exhibitions. The museum offers an extensive educational programme for children and young people as well as a special offer on the “Skyspace” by James Turrell from May to October.
