Museum Kloster Kamp
Treasures and Museums
The history of a monastery at close quarters. Experience a gem of the museums of the Lower Rhine with many original exhibits. Immerse yourself in the everyday life and spirituality of the monks of yesterday, and marvel at original exhibits from the centuries-long history the monastery. In the treasure trove, visitors are also thrilled by the “Kamper Antependium”, an embroidery which is made of gold and silver and spun into threads. Your visit is rounded off with special exhibitions and the museum shop. Enjoy a snack at the charitable café behind the abbey church. Children enjoy a playground on the southern slope of the abbey hill.
