Jüdisches Museum Westfalen

One free entry to the permanent exhibition including temporary exhibitions. Is not valid for special events.

They were miners and rabbis, artists and kindergarten teachers: you are told familiar and unknown life stories in the permanent exhibition at the Jüdisches Museum Westfalen, which opened at the end of 2018. The chapters on the Jewish religion and on Westphalian-Jewish history have been redesigned. The exhibition is multimedia, multi-coloured and interactive. New chapters deal with migration, social commitment, writing and language and always with everyday life in Westphalia. An exhibition trail for children, which a world-famous woman from Dorsten drew the logo for, is also new. Temporary exhibitions are shown in the old building.

We also recommend visiting >>Wasserschloss Lembeck (Lembeck Water Castle).
