Do you know what a "Tunneligel" is, what a "Schweineschnäuzchen" looks like or what you do with a "Kohlenhunt"? Visit the Eisenbahnmuseum Bochum and learn all about rail travel at the historic railway depot with around 70,000 m2 in the tranquil Ruhr Valley. More than 120 railway vehicles from the years 1888 to 1976 are waiting to be discovered by you. From historical steam and diesel locomotives to more modern electric locomotives, the various epochs of railway history are brought to life here. You can also experience the unique 1953 rail-road bus and visit many different events and activities.
