Zoo Dortmund

Explore Dortmund’s oasis of greenery! Nestling between the old trees at a large park in the south of the city, more than 1,500 animals and over 230 species await your visit. The extensive grounds, which are largely inspired by the fauna of South America, are home to orangutans, leopards, giraffes, zebras and rhinos. You will also find sloths, armadillos, colourful parrots, jaguars and ancient tapirs.
