See native game species such as deer and wild boar in the heart of the Ruhr district – without any fences separating you from the wildlife. Goats, squirrels and geese welcome you at the entrance, before a 12 km network of hiking trails including look-out paths takes you deep into the woodland. Children can look forward to the extensive adventure playground and exciting educational woodland treasure hunts. The Vosswinkel Academy also offers a varied programme of events all year around, from children’s birthday parties and nature tours through to twilight walks and exciting overnight stays in the woods.
