The Explorado in the inland harbour in Duisburg is an interactive museum for 4 to 12-year olds and the largest children’s museum in Germany. The heart of the building is the large interactive exhibition: children can research the fascinating phenomena of our everyday lives through play over three stories. All individual exhibits in the interactive exhibition invite everyone to touch and try them out. Children can go on a voyage of discovery with all of their senses/ They can test their speed and skill and obtain a driving licence. They can experience the building professions first hand. Visitors are also captivated by the trick film studio, Morse alphabet and much, much more. At this museum, being clever means having fun!

On the ground floor there is a new, own exhibition area. The brand new international LEGO® fan event Brick Live Force celebrates world premiere.
